April 30, 2025 What I've Been Up To... Last weekend my friend Cat and I headed into New York City to see Joe McIntyre in a solo performance. He put on a great show! I'm really liking his new Freedom album and I always love an excuse to wear my NKOTB merch. What I'm Reading...... I recently finished Sandwich by Catherine Newman and wow, did it resonate with me.  It's about a mother navigating a new phase in life where her children are grown and her parents are aging. The story takes place during their annual family vacation to Cape Cod. My children aren't grown (yet) but I know I'll be in that phase one day too.  My book club read this month is Broken Country by Clare Leslie Hall. I just started it but I think it's going to be good! What I'm Watching... I'm obsessed with the Karen Read trial. For those of you not familiar, Karen is accused of running over her boyfriend John O'Keefe (a Boston police officer) after a night of drinking. I'm still...
April 11, 2025 1. Old Friends : Last weekend my friend Anne Marie from Ireland was in New York for work. She's a sports psychologist with the Galway football team and they were in NY for a match. Anne Marie and I spent a summer together in our 20s and it was so good to catch up with my partner in crime! 2. Baseball: Baseball is back! Our season is off to a rough start but it still brings me so much joy watching Jack do his thing.  3.  Booe Waterproof Bags: I just got these waterproof bags for the Bahamas. I thought they'd be perfect for the waterpark and snorkeling. The tote bag can also be used as a cooler.  Belt Bag Tote 4. Abercrombie & Fitch: I ordered this skort dress for the Bahamas. I love the print; it's perfect for summer. Abercrombie also has nice clothes for tweens. Laura got the gingham top and matching pants.  Scarlett Strapless Linen Blend Skort Poplin Pull On Pants 5. J. Crew Factory Dress: Last weekend Jack had a baseball tournament near the Wo...
April 4, 2025 TGIF! Brian has been in India this week for work and I've been on the struggle bus managing the sports, meals, practices, etc. I'm so glad this week is over and we're 8 days away from our much anticipated trip to the Bahamas.  1. My first favorite this week is Laura and her bestie Juliana modeling clothes for a local boutique. The girls were featured on store's tik toks and social media.  2. Last weekend Brian and I attended his cousin's wedding in Brooklyn. It was fun to get dressed up and have a night out (my dress is from Lulu's). The venue was beautiful - a historic building in Williamsburg that was once a bank.  3. Two weeks ago we went out to Hampton Bays for the St. Patrick's Day parade. I loved celebrating my favorite holiday in my favorite place. We've been going to this parade for years. It's not the same without my Dad, but it's still a tradition that is important to me.  4. Long Bright River with Amanda Seyfried: This sh...
