1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well. 

2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers!

3. LOFT: I had some time to kill before the dentist so I popped into Loft. I left with this denim dress...the material is a nice heavier weight and I think it will be super cute with boots. I also got 3 sweaters. Everything is on sale and they offer and additional teacher discount.

4. SCHOOL PICTURES: We just got our school pictures. I love swapping out the photos in the frames and looking back at previous years and how much they've grown. Time is flying! 

5. THE DIPLOMAT: We're really enjoying the new season; especially since it focuses a lot on Kate and Hal's relationship. And there's an episode that takes place in the Hamptons!

    Loved reading your post! I used to blog regularly but have fallen off as other forms of social media took precedence. However, I'm determined to make a comeback. haha. I am a mom to 3... ages 20, 14, and 10. I look forward to connecting!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits.
