June 13, 2025 1. FIELD DAY: As a teacher, it's hard for me to leave my class and attend school events for Laura and Jack. I've never volunteered for Field Day and I decided that since this is Jack's last one, I had to do it. It was a blast! Bonus, my niece is in the same class with the Jack. These two crushed the three-legged race.  2. FLAG DAY:   A special event in second grade is our Flag Day performance. All the children (and teachers!) get dressed up in red/white/blue and sing patriotic songs. I'm wearing a dress from last year's Tuckernuck sale and my gingham sandals are from Target. My friend lent me this Flag sweater from Maeve (at Anthropologie).   May 30, 2025 1. BASEBALL: Jack's team has struggled this season, but they are finishing strong. They had a great showing at tourney in NJ last weekend and won their first playoff game last night. Jack played against his hockey teammate and good friend Avery. While hockey will always be my #1, I loved watching these boys off the ice and on the field.  In keeping with the baseball theme, I'm loving my new Bogg Bagg and accessories.   This Friday is a favorite because I'm off today and Monday and Tuesday. We didn't use all of our snow days so we have the extra long weekend. Laura and I are heading to Philadelphia today for a soccer tournament and then I'm hoping to get to the Hamptons for Monday/Tuesday. We've been doing some updates around the house - new furniture, fresh paint, new fixtures, etc. so I have some of those here to share.  1. Refurbished Cabinet: I inherited this cabinet and I've had it for many years. It fit the space well and I like displaying our wedding china. But it is out dated and the dark wood didn't fit my aesthetic anymore. I found a local woman on facebook who specializes in refurbishing furniture. Some blue paint and gold hardware and it looks like a brand new piece! I love how it came out! 2. May 16, 2025 1. MAY: This is my favorite time of year....the weather is warmer and summer is in sight. It is also a crazy time of year with sports, school events, and celebrations. This week Brian and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and our dog Millie's 5th birthday.  2.  TARGET SANDALS: I do not NEED any more sandals, but these shoes from Target are so cute and affordable, I couldn't resist. One of my friends bought me a cherry-themed gift for my birthday (cherry tote, cherry earrings, cherry wine glasses, etc.) and now I'm on a cherry kick. May 2, 2025 1. MAY: My first favorite is the month of May. It's my birthday, Mother's Day, and wedding anniversary. So much to celebrate and the sun is shining! The weather in NY is beautiful right now.  2. OLD NAVY DRESS: I'm loving this Old Navy gingham dress. It's so affordable and comfortable, I might have to get it in another color! I wore it to my cousin's baby shower last weekend and I'm wearing it to school today.  Old Navy Dress 3. BASEBALL BOGG BAG: I just got this Bogg Bag for baseball season and I can't wait to bring it to a tournament.  Baseball Bogg Bag 4.  SPRING BREAK: We had an amazing family vacation to Baha Mar in the Bahamas. I'm grateful for the time we spent together and the memories we made.  5. TARGET PILLOWFORT HAMPER : This hamper is adorable and reminds me of the more expensive Serena & Lily version.
