June 13, 2025 1. FIELD DAY: As a teacher, it's hard for me to leave my class and attend school events for Laura and Jack. I've never volunteered for Field Day and I decided that since this is Jack's last one, I had to do it. It was a blast! Bonus, my niece is in the same class with the Jack. These two crushed the three-legged race. 2. FLAG DAY: A special event in second grade is our Flag Day performance. All the children (and teachers!) get dressed up in red/white/blue and sing patriotic songs. I'm wearing a dress from last year's Tuckernuck sale and my gingham sandals are from Target. May 30, 2025 1. BASEBALL: Jack's team has struggled this season, but they are finishing strong. They had a great showing at tourney in NJ last weekend and won their first playoff game last night. Jack played against his hockey teammate and good friend Avery. While hockey will always be my #1, I loved watching these boys off the ice and on the field.
