What's up this Wednesday is snow, snow, and more snow! We returned from Vail on Sunday just before a major snow storm hit New York. School has been closed all week! I loved having the extra time to catch up on laundry and chores after being on the road for 10 days.

What We're Eating This Week...

Laura requested buffalo chicken dip. It may not look appetizing in this photo but trust me, it's delicious! We had it for dinner last night with Scoops chips and a side of roasted broccoli. Tonight I'm making the viral TikTok lasagna soup.

What I'm Reading...

When I was in Vail I finished The Housmaid is Watching (the 3rd book in the Housemaid series). It had been awhile since I read Freida McFadden and I couldn't put it down. This week I started Remarkably Bright Creatures. This book has rave reviews. One of the main characters is an octopus, which is interesting...I'm only a few pages in so I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

What I'm Watching...

This week Brian and I started watching Love Story and I'm obsessed. We're reminiscing about the 90s in New York City and the music is SO good.

What I'm Wearing...

Since we've been snowed in this week I've been wearing this Target sweatsuit for two days. I shared it on my last Friday Favorites and now it is on sale. It's so comfy!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall. Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well. 2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers!
