1. END OF SEASON HOCKEY BANQUET: Wednesday night we celebrated the Bedford Bears hockey program at our annual banquet. This event is kind of “my thing,” and I spent many hours planning all the details. Seeing it all come together and watching the players and families having fun was definitely a highlight for me. Our team color is blue, so Laura and I both ordered blue dresses from Amazon. We ended up loving them, and I’ve linked them below in case anyone else is looking for a cute blue dress!

2. BABY SHOWER: Last Sunday we celebrated my goddaughter's baby shower. I can't believe my baby is having a baby! She loves to travel and has been all over the world, so the theme was "Our Greatest Adventure Yet." My sister and I helped with the decorations and favors, and everything was adorable.

3. JACK'S BIRTHDAY CAKE: It’s been such a busy stretch between the banquet, the baby shower, and Jack’s birthday! Jack loves cookie cake, and every year we get his from a talented local Somers mom. This year’s theme was skiing, with a little shout-out to the Somers Ski Team and our recent trip to Vail.

4. SPRING/SUMMER SWEATERS: Even though there’s still snow on the ground here in New York, my mind is already on spring and summer. I stopped into a local boutique, Josie’s, and they had the cutest nautical sweaters. I ended up bringing home the red sweater with the blue fish. If you’re not local, you can also shop online at www.josies-boutique.com.

Have a great weekend!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3.
