 CHEER TO 10 YEARS!

On Friday, May 14th we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. We went away overnight to Mohonk Mountain House, which is only about an hour and a half away. It had been on my bucket list for a long time. 

The weather was absolutely beautiful. We left on Friday afternoon and stopped at The Kettleborough Cider House, a local brewery, on our way there.  The cider was good but they had an even better strawberry lemonade sangria. I bought a bottle to bring with us to Mohonk Mountain House. 

We checked in and had a few hours to kill before dinner. We explored the property, read on our balcony, and had some of that sangria as we watched the sun set. The hotel stay includes dinner in the dining hall and we had the 8:45pm seating since that was our night time activity. The next day we went on a hike, rowed a boat around the lake, and I had a spa treatment. We were only gone 24 hours but it was bliss!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices.
