Friday Favorites: St. Patrick's Day edition

Tis the season! If you know me, then you know St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday! My Dad was born in Ireland and I love everything Irish. I grew up Irish dancing and listening to Irish music. We celebrated our Irish culture year round, but especially on St. Patrick's Day. I have lots of happy memories going to the parade in New York City. Here are some things I've ordered to get me in the spirit:

Shamrock Earrings : I saw another blogger post these and I knew I had to have them. They are fun and inexpensive! I'm actually wearing them today!

Love Sweatshirt: Laura picked this out on Amazon to be her St. Patrick's Day shirt this year. It's unisex and a little longer that the shirts she usually weas (she loves a crop top!) but I think it will look cute with leggings.

Hockey Shamrock Shirt: I bought this for Jack. I thought the design was so cool!

Hockey Sweatshirt: I also bought him this. It says for boys and I ordered the medium. Unfortunately it's HUGE and has to go back.

Table runner: We host a St. Patrick's Day party and I thought this would look nice and festive.

Lululemon Everywhere belt bag: My friend Carrie bought this belt bag and I had to have it too! It will be perfect for the parade and the color is also fun for spring/summer. I think these bags are the perfect size to hold my phone, keys, lipgloss, etc.

Slainte Sweatshirt:  I ordered this for myself and I'm hoping it comes in time. I'm also hoping it looks as cute as it does in the picture! This site has a ton of other options if you're looking for a fun St. Patrick's Day shirt.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
