FRIDAY FAVORITES: April 21, 2023

#1: The NY Rangers in the playoffs are definitely a favorite! We're big Rangers fans in our house and love going to a game whenever we can. I smiled going down memory lane and looking through pics from the games we've been to over the years (see below). This week we watched from home as the Rangers beat the Devils twice....and my children stayed up way too late on a school night. Tomorrow night is Game 3 and we'll be watching!

#2: NOBULL Running Shoes: I'm in need of a new running shoe and I have my eyes on these from NOBULL. I saw the hot pink ones on a friend and immediately wanted them. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because they are pricey; and I'm deciding between the hot pink and rose color. I tried them on myself, but I hear they are light weight and super comfortable.
#3: Bubble brand skincare: My 11 year old introduced me to this brand the other day while we were shopping in CVS. She is very into skincare products right now and even has a skincare fridge in her room (ridiculous, I know!). I check the ingredients and make sure she only uses small amounts of very gentle, child-friendly products. My skin has been a hot mess lately so I bought this mask. I've used it twice so far and like it. My skin feels clean and soft after using it. I love that it comes with a brush, so the mask doesn't get under my nails. I think it cost about $8.00 at CVS.

#4: Baseball season is upon us! Jack is playing both town and travel baseball. He pitches and plays first base and outfield. I love watching him play, although it can be very nerve wracking! He has his first home game tomorrow night under the lights!

#5: Closet Refresh: My walk in closet is small. This week I had two more shelves added up top. I don't know why it took me 10 years to think of doing it. Since I have all the clothes out, I'm having it painted on Monday. It hasn't been painted since we moved in. No one really sees it with all the clothes and shoes I stuff in there, but I'm excited to freshen it up. I also ordered a new light fixture. I actually ordered the two below because I couldn't decide, and I'll return the one I don't use.

  1. It looks like you have had a lot of fun and family moments with the hockey.
Those running shoes looks so good. I really like the hot pink one's.

    1. Thanks Kim! I do too! I just went for it and ordered the hot pink. The blush were definitely safer and would match more but I couldn't resist the hot pink!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
