Happy Friday! In a couple of hours I'll be on my way to Chicago for BlockCon, the first ever New Kids on the Block convention. I'm meeting my friend Stephanie there. She lives in Atlanta and I haven't seen her in years. I'm so glad we can reunite over our love for NKOTB! I'm looking forward to a girls weekend and tonight's concert with my favorite boy band.

I also packed these Jessica Simpson Diza Strappy Platform Sandals which I'm loving! I don't wear heels much anymore so when I do I have two requirements: 1) they must be comfortable and 2) I must be able to walk in them. I bought the natural at full price, and when I saw they were on sale I just went back and ordered the black. 
The Dudley Stephens 50% off Sale!
One of my favorite brands, Dudley Stephens, is having a 50 % off everything (including items already on sale!) this weekend. I never see Dudley discounted this much so now is the time to stock up! I purchased the three items below that were already on sale.

Meet the Parents movie: We watched this with the kids last weekend (ages 9 and 11) and could not stop laughing. I forgot how funny it is. They really enjoyed it too. Next up, Little Fockers!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits.
