I thought I'd try blogging more in the summer, but we've been having so much fun and doing a lot of work around the house and I haven't gotten around to it. I figured what better way to try blogging again than a little "What's Up Wednesday."

1. What I'm Watching: Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias

It's easy to watch and I love the three main characters and the story of their friendship. 

2. What I'm Reading: Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

This book received many accolades, but for me it's just meh. I like it enough to keep reading, but not so much that I can't put it down. It's about a female chemist in the 1950s who faces gender discrimination.

3. What I'm Loving: The MZ Wallace Warehouse Sale

The sale started at 7am this morning and when I went online at 8am many items were already sold out. I did manage to pick up these 3 bags...

4. What We've Been Up To Lately

Baseball, baseball, and more baseball....but sadly it's coming to an end. Tomorrow is likely Jack's last game of the season. We've also been trying to soak up summer as much as possible, and are lucky to have friends with pools and pontoon boats!

5. What I'm Looking Forward To

We're headed to Hampton Bays on Saturday for a week or two, and I can't wait. Plus my cousin from Ireland is visiting and we have lots of fun things planned.

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers!
