Cheers to the long weekend! After school we're heading up to Okemo, VT for our annual ski trip with friends.....so most of my Friday Favorites are ski-related because that is what is on my brain these days.

1. OBERMEYER SKI JACKET AND PANTS: My ski jacket was over 10 years old so for Christmas Brian got me this new Obermeyer Cosima jacket. We went back and forth on the color but ultimately I picked Cloudless. I wore it at Mt. Tremblant and loved it. I decided to invest in new ski pants too since mine were pretty old and didn't fit well anymore. I got the Obermeyer Bliss pant in white. I really like how the waistband is adjustable if I gain a few pounds or have too much chili and beer at lunch!

2. Athalon Boot bags. I could NOT keep our stuff organized if it wasn't for our boot bags. Laura and Jack are responsible for carrying their own bags at the mountain and these make it easy. We store our gear in them between trips and I do a check before we leave to make sure we have everything.
3. Gordini Charger Mitten for Kids: Jack is very particular about his ski gear, and sometimes I think he's a bit OCD or has sensory issues. Even at 9, he gets upset if something doesn't feel or look "just right." He loves these ski mittens and has been wearing them for a few years. He's had them so long they ripped so I just ordered him a replacement pair. I didn't want to try something new and have them feel different.

4. My Apres Ski sweater from LOFT - now on sale!
5. My new bracelets from the Little Words Project: My cousin had some of these bracelets on at Christmas and I thought they were adorable. I checked out their website and liked the company's spirit of kindness and building community. You can customize your own bracelets. I got my name, the kids' names, and the zip code for Hampton Bays. Brian felt left out so I might have to order another! Laura's name is Laura Rose, so hers has rose colored crystals. My dad always used to say, "Happy Days in Hampton Bays," so I got the smiley faces with the zip code.

Thanks for reading.

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
