Happy Friday! I am so excited for the long weekend! I've been home sick so I'm ready for some fresh air and to get out and about. We're heading to Valley Forge, just outside of Philly for a hockey tournament. I love watching Jack play with his teammates, on and off the ice (knee hockey in the hotel is his favorite!) and spending time with our hockey family. The season ends in two weeks and I know I'm going to miss it. Hockey is always a favorite. Here are some of my other favorites this week... 1. Beth Ladd Collections : I was introduced to this brand last summer and really like the whimsical style. I already had a couple of pairs of earrings just added these two (below) to my collection. Remember when statement necklaces were a thing? So many people had that J. Crew bubble necklace, including me. I still have mine and intend to break it out one day! Anyway, right now I'm having a moment with statement earrings.  Elephant Earrings: I adore elephants, and they are o...
LET'S LOOK: LITTLE THINGS WE DO EVERY SINGLE DAY 1. MAKE MY BED : I have to make my bed every single day. If I don't, I feel unsettled. Weird, I know. In college I never made my bed because I figured what's the point, I'm just going to get back in it. Well I've done a complete 180 and now I have to do it. Laura to makes her own bed, and Jack still needs a little help with his. When I leave for work in the morning, all the beds are made.  2. LAUNDRY : I am doing some form of laundry every morning and evening. Doing one load a day helps me stay on top of it. The down side is that there is never a break from it. It is part of my daily routine, like brushing my teeth. Usually I throw in a load in the morning put it in the dryer before I leave. Then fold it when I get home from school.  3. TO DO LIST : I make a to do list every day. There is the personal to do list, and the work to do list. It helps me stay on track and keeps me from dropping the ball (although that stil...
1. Adidas Gazelle Sneakers : I just ordered these in pink and green. I didn't need another pair of sneakers, but since I wear them all the time I justified the purchase. They come in lots of fun colors. I also really liked the hot pink and the turquoise and wasn't sure which ones to get. The reviews say they run big so I sized down from a 7 to a 6.5. They didn't have the pink and green combo on the Adidas site so I ordered mine from Dicks . I'm excited to get them! 2. Twenty Years Later : This week our Book Club met to discuss our latest read, Twenty Years Later. This was a page turner! I couldn't put it down and couldn't wait to see how it ends. It has murder, white collar crime, and a little bit of romance. It takes place mostly in New York, with some scenes in Jamaica (where I've been several times and we're going for spring break!). If you're looking for an exciting read I'd recommend this book. 3. Rifle Paper Co Hydrangea Pattern : If you kn...
Happy Friday! I am so glad this week is over! Brian has been gone all week and it's been rough managing work, the house, the dog, sports, etc. But I made it! Here's a few of my favorites from this week. LOFT Luck Sweater : I picked this up last weekend. I know we're in Valentine mode right now, but I'm already thinking about St. Patrick's Day, my favorite holiday. My cousins in Ireland are in a band and this year they're coming to NYC to play in some pubs on St. Patrick's Day. I can't wait! I thought this would be cute to wear for the parade.  Luck Sweater from LOFT JEANS: I mentioned these jeans in my Wednesday post, but they are a favorite worth sharing again. I wore them to school this week and plan on wearing this again this weekend. Two of my colleagues saw them and ordered them. They run a little big and I recommend sizing down. I ordered petite for the length (I'm 5'3"). Mariner High Rise Jean from LOFT Tory Burch Kira earrings : I ju...
