Happy Friday! I am so excited for the long weekend! I've been home sick so I'm ready for some fresh air and to get out and about. We're heading to Valley Forge, just outside of Philly for a hockey tournament. I love watching Jack play with his teammates, on and off the ice (knee hockey in the hotel is his favorite!) and spending time with our hockey family. The season ends in two weeks and I know I'm going to miss it.

Hockey is always a favorite. Here are some of my other favorites this week...
1. Beth Ladd Collections: I was introduced to this brand last summer and really like the whimsical style. I already had a couple of pairs of earrings just added these two (below) to my collection. Remember when statement necklaces were a thing? So many people had that J. Crew bubble necklace, including me. I still have mine and intend to break it out one day! Anyway, right now I'm having a moment with statement earrings.
Elephant Earrings: I adore elephants, and they are our town's mascot so I couldn't resist these earrings...and they're on sale!

East Hampton Flower Earrings: I'm a sucker for anything with the word "Hamptons" in it; and these are really pretty. They come in lots of nice colors that would like great with spring and summer dresses. I bought the white because they go with everything but I'm tempted the get the periwinkle and/or pink.
Just for fun, a flashback....
2. Avara Baseball Dress: With hockey season winding down, baseball season is just getting started and I have my eye on this dress. I think it would be really cute to wear on the sidelines this summer on those hot days. I'm hoping it goes on sale soon. You can get 15% off if you sign up for emails. I would wear it with my elephant earrings!

3. Girls Spaghetti Strap Dress from Amazon: Laura's 12th birthday is coming up and she wanted a new dress to wear to her party. She found one she really liked at a local children's boutique but it was pricey. A friend found us this Amazon dupe. It came yesterday and it fits great! She's going to wear it with her white Converse.

4. First Lie Wins: I just started this book and I can't put it down!
5. Snow Days! We had a snow day on Tuesday and the kids and I loved being home together. It was so pretty to look at!

That's all for this week. Thanks for reading. Enjoy the long weekend!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
