I am 10 days away from Spring Break! 10 days until warm Jamaica weather! Tuesday was the first day of Spring but it doesn't feel like it here in NY. I can't wait to wear dresses and feel the sun on my super pale legs. Here's a roundup of some of my faves this week:

1. St. Patrick's Day with the Rise & Shine Band: My cousins from county Offaly in Ireland are in a band called Rise & Shine (@riseandshineband). They traveled all the way to NY for St. Patrick's Day weekend! They played at a bar in the city on Saturday night and then at a restaurant in Long Island on Sunday afternoon. Brian and I went to the Saturday night show and it was a blast! Sunday was more family-friendly and we brought the kids, my mom, and some of our other friends and family. I know I'm biased, but they were awesome! Although it was a little bittersweet because my Dad would've absolutely loved it!



2. Venus Dress: If you follow Motherchic, she posted this dress on her facebook page this week. I just ordered it today and I'm not sure how it will look in person, but I'm hoping it will be as cute in real life. It also comes in a long sleeve version as well as a maxi dress. I've never owned anything by this brand before, so I'm curious to see if I like it. Stay tuned. 


3. Off the Shoulder Dress from Amazon: I saw this on Instagram and thought it was really pretty. It would be nice for a summer wedding, shower, graduation, etc. 
4. Kane Revive Shoes: I just ordered these for Jack. Apparently all the boys are wearing them. He lived in his crocs so I'm hoping he wears these all the time too esp since they're pricey.

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers!
