This is the last Friday of the school year! The week has been absolute madness between school events and sports. Here's some of the favorites from this crazy week...
1. Yankee Game: On Tuesday night we took the train to the Yankee game with a bunch of friends from town. The Yankees were playing the Orioles, Brian's favorite team. The Yankees victory was extra sweet because we got to rub it in!
Most of these kids have been going to games together since they were little!
This picture is everything. LOVE my boys!
2. Boundless Adventures: On Wednesday we had off from school for Juneteenth. Jack and I went to this place called Boundless Adventures with two of his friends and their moms (who are also good friends of mine). Boundless Adventures is an outdoor climbing facility with a ropes course and ziplines. When I made the plans, I thought the boys were going to play and the moms would hang. Wrong! I didn't realize that we were doing it too! I'm not a fan of heights so this was definitely out of my comfort zone. I pushed myself and I'm so glad I did it!
3. American Revolution Museum: This week Jack's class hosted an American Revolution Museum where they displayed their projects. Each student studied a key person from the American Revolution and had to dress up like them. Here is Jack as Thomas Jefferson! I should mention that we're having a major heatwave this week and the poor kid had to wear this velvet costume!
4. New Rug by Becki Owens: I replaced our rug in the TV/family room with this one by Becki Owens that I purchased it on Amazon. The current prices is almost $300 more than I paid. I think the price fluctuates so if you're interested I'd monitor the price before purchasing. Becki Owens is a interior designer and I'm obsessed with her style. You can check out her blog here.
So much lighter and brighter now (rug here)!
This is a pic of the old rug from Pottery Barn. I still love it and moved it up to Brian's office.
5. Fells Naptha: Baseball mamas, you need this soap! It's magic with the baseball pants. I wet the bar and scrub the stains, let them sit for a bit and then wash as usual. I buy it on Amazon.
TGIF! Have a great weekend!
