June 14, 2024
Today is our last full day of school Friday! Our last day is June 26th -- the end is in sight! Which also means that I'm super busy wrapping up the school year.

1. NAP DRESS: My first favorite is my new Nap dress. I have several of these dress and they are a wardrobe staple during the summer. We're doing family photos on the beach in a couple of weeks and I just got these dresses for Laura and I to wear. I half-jokingly asked her if she wanted to twin with me, and I was shocked when she agreed! She's 12, so this will probably be the last time. I'm going to enjoy it while I can!

2. ELIN HILDERBRAND is one of my favorite authors. She's the queen of the beach read and her latest novel, Swan Song, was released this week. I can't wait to read it. My aunt and I met Elin at a book signing a couple of summers ago (and look, I'm wearing a Nap dress!).

3. LOFT DRESS: Today our second graders had their Flag Day concert and I'm wearing this red, white, and blue dress. It's also perfect for July 4th.

4. AMAZON DRESS: I saw this dress on the Simply Small Town blog and I immediately added it to my cart. I wore it to school this week and got lots of compliments. It's great for work but also dressy enough for events like showers, graduations, etc.

5. BOBBLEHEAD from www.statuegift.com: We ordered this Bobblehead as end-of-season gift for Laura's soccer coach and it came out AMAZING! It's a great gift if you're looking for something different and fun!

6. SUNSET: We arrived in Hampton Bays last Friday just in time for this beautiful sunset. These views are my favorite.

Thanks for reading. HAPPY FRIDAY and happy (almost) summer!

BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers! Loira Midi Dress Celebration Time Navy Dress 3. LOFT: I had some time to kill before the dentist so I popped into Loft. I left with this denim dress...the material is a nice heavier weight and I think it will be super cute with boots. I also got 3 sweaters.
