Happy Friday! This was our first full week of school and it hit hard. We went from 0 to 100 and are fully back in the swing of things when it comes to school and sports.

1.) FOOTBALL: Last weekend Jack played his first tackle football game ever! Football is not my favorite to watch, but he's having so much and I love that. Jack chose the number zero because it's "drippy." (I think it takes a lot of guts to wear 0...I'd be afraid kids would make fun of me!).

2.) BASEBALL: Last Friday night we went with Jack's travel baseball team families to the Hudson Valley Renegades baseball game. I so tired and didn't feel like going, but I'm so glad I did. It was a beautiful night for a game and I missed our baseball friends. And the boys had a blast!

WELCOME SOMERS RED STORM!

3. THE PERFECT COUPLE:  This week Brian and I watched The Perfect Couple, the Netflix series based on Elin Hilderbrand's novel. Hilderbrand is one of my favorite author's and I read the book, but it was so long ago that I didn't remember it. The actors include Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, and Eve Hewson, who I didn't realize at first is Bono's daughter! The acting was terrific and we really enjoyed it.

4: AMAZON DRESS: My friend at school had this dress on last week and I loved it. When I found out it was only $23 I had to get it! Even though I won't be able to wear it much longer,  I'll have it for next spring/summer.

5. LILLY PULITZER: This week Lilly Pulitzer had their annual Sunshine Sale. It's a great time to pick up some deeply discounted pieces. It's risky though because everything is final sale.  Here is what I ordered, along with some candles to give as hostess gifts:

5. TRADER JOE'S BODY BUTTER: I love all the Trader Joe's body butters and this pumpkin one has fall written all over it.

That's all. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers! Loira Midi Dress Celebration Time Navy Dress 3. LOFT: I had some time to kill before the dentist so I popped into Loft. I left with this denim dress...the material is a nice heavier weight and I think it will be super cute with boots. I also got 3 sweaters.
