1. NYC at Christmas time: We went into the city last weekend for a fun family day. We visited the Winter Village in Bryant Park, peeked at the tree at Rockefeller Center, and saw & Juliet on Broadway. I loved it! The pop music was fabulous (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, etc.) and it was impressive how they wove the songs into the story. It was extra fun because Tim Allen was sitting across from us, and the kids enjoyed seeing Charli D'Amelio. Highly recommend seeing it if you have the opportunity.

2. Zara: When we were in the city we popped into Zara and they had so many cute, festive outfits for the holiday season. Laura and I wanted a few things but we didn't want to carry them around, so we shopped online when we got home. Below are the pieces we bought. I have a birthday party tonight and plan to wear the Diamond Knit sweater with my black coated pants from Kut from the Kloth.

3. Telestrations: The whole family played this game over Thanksgiving weekend and there was lots of laughter. It was Laura and Jack's time playing and they had so much that I ordered it for them for Christmas.

4. Chalk Talk Personalized Socks: I just ordered these socks for Jack and Laura. Laura already has a pair in black and wears them all the time. I ordered her red this time - her team colors are red and black. I also ordered a pair for one of Jack's hockey teammates for his birthday. They make great gifts and will arrive in time for the holidays.

Have a great weekend!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
