Happy Friday! Here's what I'm loving this week...
1. LOFT Heart Sweater: I saw this sweater on instagram and liked it; so when I was in the mall this week I stopped by LOFT to see if they had it and luckily they did. I'm wearing it to school today. It's perfect for Valentine's Day and it's on sale!

2. The TUCKERNUCK Sample Sale started this week. Today is the last day. I always pick up a few pieces at great prices. However, it is risky because it everything is final sale. Here's what I got:

I thought this would be perfect for July 4th.

We have a trip planned to Vegas and I'm packing this leather dress.

These shoes look more expensive than they are.
I loved the toile print on this dress and the soft pink color.
3. SOUP: It's freezing in New York right now. The temperature on my car said -8 degrees! It's perfect soup weather. I have a lemon chicken orzo soup recipe which is a family favorite; but this week I switched it up and tried this recipe from Lemon Stripes. To make it easier, I bought the celery, onion, and carrots pre-chopped from Trader Joes.

4. SKI TRIPS: Last weekend was our annual ski trip to Okemo, VT. There is a house on one of the ski trails that is famous for their "candy mailbox." The owners generously fill up the mailbox with treats. Last time we were here the mailbox had been attacked by a bear the night before and was empty. We were very excited to get candy this time!

5. BOOK CLUB: I'm part of a book club and at our last meeting I gave everyone one of these Book Lover acrylic glasses. I bought them from the Draper James site but they also have them on Amazon. They make great gifts for the readers in your life.

6. CLASSROOM DECOR: This year our classroom has a Taylor Swift/Disco Ball theme. My co-teacher and I got these disco ball plants from Trader Joes and I love how they sparkle when they reflect the sun. Today we're doing a Valentine Craft about "Our Self Love Era." I linked it below for any teachers out there.

Have a great weekend!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
