It's the first Friday Favorites of 2025! Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a nice holiday and your 2025 is off to a great start. We had a wonderful Christmas with our families and then went to Vermont for a few days. Which brings me to my first favorite....

1. Ski Trips with Friends: We've been doing ski trips with the same friend group for about 5 years now. Over the break went to Killington, VT and next weekend we're all off to Okemo for our annual MLK trip. These trips are always fun but they weren't always easy, especially when the kids were younger - schlepping equipment, dropping them at ski school, listening to the complaining, etc. Now that they are older it's all paying off and those hard days were worth it! It's the best feeling in the world to be on top of the mountain with the kids and watch them skiing down with their friends. Now they have to wait for me! 

2. Lily Pulitzer Sunshine Sale: This week Lily had their semi-annual Sunshine Sale. I tried to stay away but I ended up getting two dresses and some accessories. I take advantage of sale and stock up on candles and items for hostess or teacher gifts.

Women's Holiday Crewneck Sweaters at Target: The Target brand A New Day came out with these adorable sweaters and they're under $20! I got both Apres ski sweaters, although Laura took one of them to match with her friend. I also got the maroon "Cheers" sweater and the green one with the cherries.

Personalized Heart Map Necklace: For Christmas, Brian gave me this heart necklace with a map of our neighborhood in Hampton Bays. The diamond represents where our house is, and the solid gold area is Tiana Bay. It was incredibly thoughtful and one of the best gifts I've ever received. Happy Friday! The summer is coming crashing to an end and I'm not happy about it. But I am excited for the new school year. Friday, November 8, 2024 1. Joe McIntrye in Drag the Musical: On Wednesday I met some friends in NYC to see Joe McIntyre in Drag the Musical. I'm a huge NKOTB fan so I couldn't miss the opportunity to see my favorite New Kid on Broadway. We had bar stool seats right on the stage! Besides gushing over being so close to Joey, we really enjoyed the show. It was funny and entertaining. Afterwards we saw Joey leaving the theater and he was super nice and happy to take photos with us.  2. Old Navy Sequin Skirts: I wore this Old Navy black sequin skirt to the theater; along with my NKOTB BlockCon tee shirt. The skirt was really comfortable and not itchy at all. I also bought the long sequin skirt in the silver color. I haven't purchased the dress yet because I can't decide on a color but it's in my cart. July 19, 2024 We're wrapping up on second week of camp and summer is flying by....I'm trying to enjoy it instead of thinking about summer being over soon. On Wednesday my cousin Gerard and I took the train into the city to see the Irish band the Saw Doctors perform at Central Park Summer Stage. We had about a 25 block walk from Grand Central to Central Park and we popped into bars as we made our way uptown. We even made an impromptu visit to my sister at her office building. It was so much fun! The concert was great but the band had to stop after an hour because of lightning and thunder. Just as we were walking out of the park the skies opened and we got SOAKED! The train ride home in soggy wet clothes was NOT a favorite.  I have a long list of small house projects to accomplish this summer. This week I did a deep cleaning of Jack's room.
