1. SOUP: Last week it was chicken noodle soup, this week I made lasagna soup. It was so good! Everyone in the house ate it, although Brian did say that it reminded him a little bit of Chef Boyardee!

2. Valentine Nails: On Tuesday evening I got a manicure with a little Valentine pop. These little white hearts make me happy.

3. Mid-Week Skiing: We had off on Wednesday in honor of Lunar New Year. I was tempted to stay home and catch up on things around the house, but the opportunity to get in some mid-week skiing was too good to pass up. The laundry will always be there! My friend Carrie and I took our boys to Hunter Mountain (about 2 hours away) for the day. We had a blast!

4. Class Valentine Gifts: I saw these heart shaped water colors on Instagram and ordered them as class Valentine gifts. Last year I gave my students gummy pizzas with a tag saying "You Have a Pizza My Heart." I linked both below for any teacher friends.

4. AVARA Resort Collection: The new Avara Resort Collection is so good! I ordered the items below with our spring break trip in mind.  They arrived and I love them. The dress is even better in person. I've only tried on the shoes around the house but so far they are surprisingly comfortable.

5. New York Pizza: Last weekend we took a trip down memory lane and brought my mom back to Louie & Ernie's pizza in the Bronx. My sister and I grew up going here with our parents and Aunt Peggy and Uncle Bob. The pizza is the best....just as good as I remembered it!

Have a great weekend!

BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers! Loira Midi Dress Celebration Time Navy Dress 3. LOFT: I had some time to kill before the dentist so I popped into Loft. I left with this denim dress...the material is a nice heavier weight and I think it will be super cute with boots. I also got 3 sweaters.
