1. SOUP: Last week it was chicken noodle soup, this week I made lasagna soup. It was so good! Everyone in the house ate it, although Brian did say that it reminded him a little bit of Chef Boyardee!

2. Valentine Nails: On Tuesday evening I got a manicure with a little Valentine pop. These little white hearts make me happy.

3. Mid-Week Skiing: We had off on Wednesday in honor of Lunar New Year. I was tempted to stay home and catch up on things around the house, but the opportunity to get in some mid-week skiing was too good to pass up. The laundry will always be there! My friend Carrie and I took our boys to Hunter Mountain (about 2 hours away) for the day. We had a blast!

4. Class Valentine Gifts: I saw these heart shaped water colors on Instagram and ordered them as class Valentine gifts. Last year I gave my students gummy pizzas with a tag saying "You Have a Pizza My Heart." I linked both below for any teacher friends.

4. AVARA Resort Collection: The new Avara Resort Collection is so good! I ordered the items below with our spring break trip in mind.  They arrived and I love them. The dress is even better in person. I've only tried on the shoes around the house but so far they are surprisingly comfortable.

5. New York Pizza: Last weekend we took a trip down memory lane and brought my mom back to Louie & Ernie's pizza in the Bronx. My sister and I grew up going here with our parents and Aunt Peggy and Uncle Bob. The pizza is the best....just as good as I remembered it!

Have a great weekend!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
