The weather is warming up in New York and the sun is setting later. I'm sad that we probably won't get another ski day in this season, but I'm looking forward to Spring!

1. Target Haul: Laura and I hit up Target and picked up a few this for Spring Break. The "Shade to Shore" brand has adorable bathing suits and "A New Day" has fun accessories. The pink jellies are by Wild Fable. They remind me of when I was 12 and I couldn't resist picking up a pair.

2. New York City: Last weekend we ventured into NYC and visited the Museum of Ice Cream in SoHo. We had lunch at Boqueria and walked around and did some shopping. I miss living in the city! I've been stalking the Colorful Natalie shop on Instagram so it was fun to visit their NYC store in person.

3. Candles: Bath & Body Works just had their annual candle sale. All 3 wick candles were $11.95 so I stocked up! The jars are really pretty and they have so many scents to choose from.

4. Creamy Tomato Sausage Pasta: This week I made creamy tomato sausage pasta and it was a big hit in our house! Both Laura and Jack went back for seconds. The recipe is Andrea's from Momfessionals and you can find it here.

5: Jack's First Cologne: Jack had money from his birthday and he REALLY wanted to buy his first cologne. We were conflicted about letting him spend it on something so frivolous (Does an 11 year old need cologne?). In the end, I decided it's his money and that's what birthdays are for! He was so excited and has been using it everyday.

6. Basement Bathroom & Vanity: We're in the process of adding a bathroom and kitchenette to our basement so my mom can move in with us in the fall. The project is really coming along and I love the new sage green vanity from Lowe's.

7. The White Lotus Season 3: Brian and I have been watching the third season of White Lotus and it's my favorite show at the moment. It takes place in Thailand where we spent our honeymoon and the scenery is beautiful. If you're looking for something to watch this weekend I highly recommend.

Have a great weekend!
Heather

  1. What great buys from Target! I remember jelly shoes from when I was a kid. It's so cool that they are still a thing.
Those candles sound amazing and what a bargain!

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
