1. GIRLS WEEKEND: My number one favorite right now? SUMMER! Today is the last day of school, and I am so ready. I had the most incredible class this year and will miss them dearly, but it's time for some sunshine and sand. Last weekend, I went to the Hamptons with my girlfriends—we had the best weather and even better girl time. I’m already counting down the days until we can go back!
2. MOVE DAY: Last week brought a big change—my mom moved in with us. Saying goodbye to my childhood home and the city apartment she lived in for 50 years wasn’t easy, but I know in my heart it was the right choice. It’s been so special having her just downstairs, and I think the kids are loving it too.

3. CHERRIES: Lately, I’ve been all about cherries—I even got a cherry-themed manicure! It’s a little bolder than my usual style, but I absolutely love it. Plus, it’ll pair perfectly with my new cherry dress!

4. BACK70 Shoes: I recently discovered a new brand I’m loving—Back70. While shopping with my girlfriends last week, we wandered into a boutique and I spotted the cutest pair of mule-style sneakers. I didn’t own anything like them, so naturally, I had to have them! I picked them up in beige, but they come in other colors too and are available at Anthropologie.
5. NKOTN in Las Vegas: Brian and I leave super bright and early tomorrow for Las Vegas. We're going to the New Kids on the Block residency at MGM and I can't wait!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits.
