1. OLD NAVY: Old Navy has the best sweater dresses at the best price point ($26). This year I bought the black and crimson. Below I'm wearing the green one from last year with my new boots from Nordstrom. While I was shopping at Old Navy I couldn't resist this adorable holiday sweater. It's perfect for ski weekends.

2. TRADER JOE'S FLOWERS: I try to go to Trader Joe's every week or two and love getting fresh flowers from there. This week I went with Halloween colors. A house full of flowers makes me happy.

3. FAMILY BIRTHDAYS: Yesterday was my mom's 84th birthday. We celebrated by taking her out to a nice steakhouse. She moved in with us in June and it's been such a blessing getting to spend more time with her. 

4. HALLOWEEN ON A FRIDAY: We host an annual Halloween party and the last several years it's been on a school night. I'm VERY happy it's a Friday this year. We are party ready!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers!
