1. FAMILY PHOTO: It's rare that we take a family photo so anytime we get one of the four of us it's a favorite....even if they're not really smiling and you can tell they're just humoring me.

2.  DINING TABLE: I wanted this set for a long time and I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger. It really brightens up the room. The old set was from when we first got married, and we had many family celebrations around that table. We gave it to a teacher in town who has young kids and didn't want to invest in something new.

3. NEW CURTAINS: I recently replaced the curtains in our master bedroom. The old ones were handmade by a friend's mother and we had them for over ten years. I wanted curtains that were floor length and blue in color. These are "light filtering" so I put cordless shades from Amazon behind them, and it works really well.

4. ROTUNDA BAG: My sister and I both just got this bag from Rotunda. It looks more expensive than it is and comes in so many fun colors.

5. FLOW SOCIETY: We're raising money for Jack's baseball team to go to Cooperstown next summer. For one of the fundraisers, I worked with Flow Society to create custom Somers shorts, pajama pants, and hoodies. If you're looking to do a fundraiser, I hight recommend Flow Society. They were very easy to work with and orders ship directly to the customer.

Have a great weekend!

  1. That is a lovely photo of you all. I get, it is so hard to get a family photo. Ours only seem to happen on special occasions.
Your dining room table is beautiful and the new curtains are pretty too.

It has been a BUSY but fun couple of weeks around here. Today is my last day of work for awhile and I'm hoping to enjoy some down time as we head into August. I have lots of favorites to share this Friday start with... 1. ENGLISH FACTORY DRESSES: My friend has this dress and it's adorable on her. I had my eye on it for awhile and pulled the trigger when it went sale. I can't wait to wear it this weekend! Sunni Color Block Dress 2. BASEBALL LIFESTYLE : My son Jack is very into this Baseball Lifestyle 101 brand. It's all the rage with the baseball players. He typically wears hand me downs so I treated him to these shorts in blue and pink and the short sleeve hoodie. Baseball Shorts 3. CHERRIES: My obsession with cherries continues. I picked up this straw bag at a local boutique, a cute tank at Old Navy, and some fun items at Five Below.  Old Navy Cherry Tank ...
August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. The navy, red, and white rug is from Pottery Barn, and I scored it for an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace! 3. TUCKERNUCK SAMPLE SALE: The semi-annual Tuckernuck sample sale is live and it's sooooo good. There were so many pieces I loved but I...
LOW LEVEL GOALS FOR 2025 Today I'm linking up with Erika to share our goals for 2024. I like that they are calling these "low level" goals because I don't want to set myself up for failure. I've made the mistake in previous years of setting lofty goals that weren't attainable. So here we go.... Read 25 Books in 2025: Last year I wanted to read 24 books in 2024 and I fell a little short. I think I read about 20. But this year I'm committed. I really enjoy reading so it shouldn't be too hard. The issue is finding the time. We have a vacation planned in April and I love to read on vacation. I also love hunkering down under a blanket with a good book during the colder months.  Take Online Classes: I'm a teacher and our district offers pay increases every time you earn an additional 30 credits up to 120 credits. This year my goal is to earn 30 credits (10 classes) before September 1st. A couple of years ago I earned my first 30 and I've slacking...
