1). NYC: Happy Friday! This month is flying by and I can't believe the holidays are around the corner. We had off from school on Tuesday for Veteran's Day so I took Laura, Jack and my niece into the city. We went to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and visited Brian and my sister at their offices. It was a great day and I hope one that they'll always remember.

We went to St. Patrick's Cathedral and lit candles in my Dad's memory. While we were there I had the girls recreate a photo that my sister and I took many years ago. They even copied our sullen expressions!

2). Old Navy Fleece Sweatshirt: I'm loving this fleece mock turtleneck from Old Navy. It reminds me of Dudley Stephens but at a much lower price point. I bought the hot pink and the red, which I think will be nice for the holidays.

3). Aspen and Arlo: My friend introduced me to Aspen and Arlo, and now I'm obsessed with their wrapping paper. They have fun sports-themed prints and I purchased soccer for Laura and hockey and baseball for Jack. I also couldn't resist the hydrangea paper for birthdays or other occasions.

4). 67 Wrapping Paper: If your kids are like mine and think "67" is the funniest thing ever (I don't get it!?) here's another fun wrapping paper option from Walmart.

5). All Her Fault on Peacock: We started watching this show this week. I'm two episodes in and I'm hooked. I can't wait to watch this weekend. If you're looking for something to binge this weekend, I highly recommend.

6). Lasagna Soup: I made this lasagna soup this week and it was a hit. Laura even brought leftovers for lunch. Brian told me it reminded him of Chef Boyardee and I should take that as a compliment! Lol.

Have a great weekend!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense.
