1. ORGANIZATION: Like so many of us, I’m kicking off the new year with a renewed focus on getting organized. Between Bar Mitzvahs and tournaments, Laura and Jack have accumulated quite the hoodie collection and their drawers wouldn't shut. When I stumbled upon this hack on Instagram, I knew I had to try it. I picked up an over-the-door organizer from Target, and I’m obsessed! It freed up an incredible amount of space, and it feels so good to have everything neatly in one place. It’s funny how these small things bring me so much joy!

2. HOCKEY: Last weekend, we attended a hockey game featuring former New York Rangers players, including Adam Graves, Stéphane Matteau, and Marc Staal. The event was a fundraiser to help improve the conditions at our local rink, making it even more meaningful. The athletes were incredibly friendly and generous with their time, especially with the kids. Jack and his grandpa had the chance to meet all the players and take photos, which made the day extra special.

3. SKI TRIPS: Over winter break, we headed to Vermont with friends for our annual trip, staying at the same hotel we return to year after year. The kids always have the best time being together, and it’s become such a special tradition for all of us. While the skiing conditions weren’t ideal, we still made the most of every moment. The kids are officially old enough to head up the mountain on their own, which meant I got a little extra time in the lodge with this guy. Next up - Vail, Colorado in a few weeks!

4. COMFRT sweats: I may have been a little late to the Comfrt craze. It started when we bought the Comfrt travel hoodie as a birthday gift for our cousin who’s always on the go. After that, I couldn’t stop noticing them everywhere. When I dropped off a package at a friend’s house, she was wearing a full Comfrt sweatsuit. Then on our ski trip, it seemed like every teen girl had one on. I’ve always been a fan of cozy, comfortable clothes, so I jumped on the bandwagon. The material is thick, making it perfect for those freezing winter temperatures.

5. LOBSTER GLASSES: My friend sent me these after spotting them at Target—she was buying them for her beach house, and of course I had to grab a set too. They arrived and are adorable. I can’t wait to bring them to Hampton Bays!

Have a great week!

  1. That door organiser looks fantastic and I think my youngest girls room could benefit from that.
The hockey sounds like fantastic fun and a great experience.

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3.
