1. LAKE PLACID CAN/AM HOCKEY: We spent three days in Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and it was magical. It felt like stepping into a snow globe with the snow lightly falling all around us. One of the highlights was watching the boys play on the iconic “Miracle” ice from the 1980 Olympics. Between that, the opening ceremonies, and the skills competition, it was a tournament we won’t forget.

2. TARGET X ROLLER RABBIT:  This collab dropped on March 7th, and by the time Laura and I went the next day, it was mostly sold out. I got lucky and found a few pieces in my size. I also grabbed some cute plates and an adorable cooler for the Hamptons (both still in stock!). And yes… I’m terrible at selfies.

3. VIRGIN RIVER: The new season of Virgin River just came out and I binged it in a few days. I love the characters, the setting, everything. Brian and I are also enjoying Love Story on FX, but I can't binge it because they only release one episode a week. The soundtrack is the best...it brings me back to the 90s!

4. CONSTRUCTION: We are in the middle of a massive kitchen renovation that involves tearing down walls and adding structural beams. It's unsettling and inconvenient to live with right now, but I keep reminding myself that it will be worth it when I have my dream kitchen. If you're like me and love a home project and decorating, I'm going to do a weekly post about the renovation - follow along!

Have a great weekend!

August 22, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: I spent a few days in the Hamptons with my mom this week. Brian and the kids stayed home since sports have already kicked off. Even though Mom lives with us now, we haven’t had much one-on-one time, so it was really nice to catch up. My friend Carrie was also out there solo, so we squeezed in lots of shopping! Such a nice little break before the craziness starts next week. 2. OOFOS flip flops: One of my neighbors has these and swears by them. I bought them in black and have to admit, they are VERY comfortable. I expect to be wearing these to lost of games in the fall.  Oofos Original Sandal 3. NEW RUGS: Carrie and I were both on the hunt for rugs and I ended up finding this beautiful blue one at HomeSense. October 24, 2025 1. GIRL TIME: My college bestie and I took our daughters to the Shawn Mendez concert at Forest Hill Stadium. It was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert and we had a blast! I love that we have daughters the same age and they get along so well.  2. LULUS: Lulus is my go-to spot for dresses. They always have such a great selection at reasonable prices. I usually order a few different styles and sizes to try on, then just keep my favorites. I have two events coming up in November and December, and these two dresses are definite keepers! Loira Midi Dress Celebration Time Navy Dress 3. LOFT: I had some time to kill before the dentist so I popped into Loft. I left with this denim dress...the material is a nice heavier weight and I think it will be super cute with boots. I also got 3 sweaters.
