January 30, 2026 1. VALENTINE NAILS: My Valentine-inspired mani makes me smile. 2. SNOW DAYS & COZY NIGHTS: We were got a ton of snow Sunday into Monday—17 inches! We had a snow day on Monday and a delay on Tuesday. The kids had the best time playing outside, and we happily hunkered down for a couple of cozy days while the storm passed. We were lucky to keep our power, which made it even easier to enjoy the slowdown. And to top it all off, Jack and I squeezed in an after-school ski day on Wednesday! 3. TRADER JOES FLOWERS: Trader Joe’s flowers are always my favorite. I picked up a few different kinds and made bouquets for my mom and me. 4. BEEF BOURGUIGNON (Beef Burgundy): The snow day was the perfect day for a hearty meal and Brian made this delicious beef bourguignon. Recipe linked below! Recipe 5. SPRING SWEATERS FROM ABERCROMBIE: Abercrombie has the cutest stuff lately.  My friend sent me these adorable coastal sweaters and I immediately added them to my cart.  Abe...
January 28, 2026 WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO LATELY We were buried in snow this weekend— 17 inches fell in our little Westchester town! Friday night before the storm rolled in we headed to our local firehouse for Bingo night, which was a fundraiser for Jack’s upcoming hockey tournament in Lake Placid. It was a fun evening with our hockey family and a great way to kick off a snowy weekend before we had to hunker down. WHAT I'M READING I finished my first book of 2026, The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore. It’s the first book in a charming series, and the characters and small-town setting gave me major Gilmore Girls vibes. The author’s last name is even Gilmore! WHAT I'M WATCHING His & Hers on Netflix was an easy weekend binge with surprising twists. Definitely recommend if you like suspenseful shows. WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO This weekend we have two hockey games on Long Island, so we’re hosting some of our hockey friends in Hampton Bays. I’m really looking forwar...
                                                           1.  GIVING BACK: Last Saturday, the kids and I spent the morning volunteering together. We put together self-care kits for people in need, filling little pouches with washcloths, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and the cozy socks. It felt good to slow down, work side by side, and talk about why these small gestures matter. More than anything, it was a sweet reminder of how lucky we are—and how meaningful it can be to give back together. 2. TARGET:  On Sunday, I popped into Target with my mom and Laura, and let’s just say… it did not disappoint. They had somuch good stuff that I ended up coming home with a haul I picked up two coastal doormats that are perfect for the Hamptons. I also found the most adorable cordless rattan lamp (yes, it comes with a charging cable!), and...
  1. ORGANIZATION: Like so many of us, I’m kicking off the new year with a renewed focus on getting organized. Between Bar Mitzvahs and tournaments, Laura and Jack have accumulated quite the hoodie collection and their drawers wouldn't shut. When I stumbled upon this hack on Instagram, I knew I had to try it. I picked up an over-the-door organizer from Target, and I’m obsessed! It freed up an incredible amount of space, and it feels so good to have everything neatly in one place. It’s funny how these small things bring me so much joy!  Jack's Room Laura's Room Target Organizer 2. HOCKEY: Last weekend, we attended a hockey game featuring former New York Rangers players, including Adam Graves, Stéphane Matteau, and Marc Staal. The event was a fundraiser to help improve the conditions at our local rink, making it even more meaningful. The athletes were incredibly friendly and generous with their time, especially with the kids. Jack and his grandpa had the chance to meet all ...
